NSB Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Energy Consulting Engineer to play a key role within this award-winning, data-led, energy management and technical engineering consultancy.
Location: Fully remote, with travel as required.
As Energy Consulting Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance to our clients in optimising their energy usage, improving sustainability, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
This position demands an experienced professional with a deep understanding of energy systems, building services competencies/ compliance, technical engineering principles and a proven track record in delivering impactful consultancy services.
You will lead projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to developing and implementing innovative solutions that align with our clients' business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their energy management needs and providing strategic recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of energy systems and engineering principles to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
- Work on-site across various locations in the country to conduct energy and engineering audits, surveys and reports.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of building services regulations, design and compliance requirements.
- Lead and manage energy management and technical engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful and timely delivery of consultancy services.
Ideally You Will Have the Following
- Have an electrical bias & a strong understanding of building services from an energy perspective.
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency measures, decarbonisation and sustainable practices.
- The production of reports and technical papers.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering M&E projects.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse technical problems, develop innovative solutions, and make recommendations.
The following attributes are desired:
- Possesses experience in electrical design and qualification management.
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage (HV) systems.
- Holds approved electrician qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of VRF / VRV systems.
