NSB Recruitment have an exciting opportunity working for a leading environmental consultancy seeking a Carbon & Climate Change Consultant to join their dynamic team, this role will be based in either Bristol or London, with flexible hybrid working options available.
As a Carbon & Climate Change Consultant your role will be to support clients in transitioning to net zero and low carbon economies. The team consists of around 100 high-calibre, technically skilled individuals, working both remotely and from offices in Bristol or London. Occasional travel may be required for specific project needs such as meetings.
My client requires these skills and understanding: an in-depth knowledge of UK and international climate legislation and policy drivers, experience in developing lifecycle GHG footprints, and technical management of carbon and climate change assessments. Proficiency in decarbonisation and net zero plans, climate risk mitigation, and adaptation is essential. Experience with climate projections such as UKCP18 or other CMIP6 models, and a strong track record in the consultancy sector are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, the ability to write clear and concise reports, and high technical capability to review and interpret data are crucial.
