The BMS Engineer job itself where you will specialise in all aspects of BMS, Automation Controls and Connected Solutions your primary responsibility will involve the installation, upgrade, servicing & maintenance, and commissioning of BMS and associated solutions.
- Lead the installation and servicing of BMS systems
- Implement system upgrades and modifications to enhance overall performance.
- Integration of BMS with various control systems
- Ensure seamless communication and interoperability among diverse control platforms.
- Interfacing with MODbus, Mbus and BACnet systems to third-party equipment, using MQTT, JSON and API’s using Webhooks.
- Execute commissioning activities to validate the functionality and efficiency of installed BMS and Controls
- Collaborate with project teams to address any integration challenges during commissioning.
- Contribute to the maintenance and optimisation of diverse BMS across multiple projects.
- Work on-site across various locations in the country to oversee installation, integration, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Produce comprehensive maintenance and site survey reports.
- Support remote maintenance and fault diagnostics activities
To be successful as BMS Controls Engineer, you will have the following:
- Working knowledge of proprietary controls systems and working knowledge of BMS systems, including the ability to create graphical representation of the installed BMS solution.
- Good electrical knowledge and sound understanding of M&E systems, including fault finding.
- Full driving licence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Motivate and have good cross-functional relationships.
- Ability and willingness to undertake frequent travel within the UK and overseas for the role.
As BMS Engineer you will enjoy a competitive salary: £45,000 to £52,000 (doe) + £6K car allowance + flexible benefits package featuring the below.
